Bye-bye nofollow…
Like the total blogging noob I am, I only just realised that nofollow was being applied to all the links I place to external sites in any posts - AS STANDARD!?! Of course, this just will not do! I’d be dissapointed to find sites were refusing me their link love using nofollow, so why should I be holding mine back? If your rankings improve by my linking to you (doubtful at this point, but who knows what might happen in future) then all power to you, why would I want to withhold that?
I’ve installed a plugin to change this now, but can someone explain to me the reasons for this massive ballache? I understand having nofollow on comments to avoid spam (though this is mostly dealt with now via akismet), but across my entire site, as standard? No thanks.

Hi Matty!
I have a few Wordpress blogs and and no follow hasnt been applied to those post links. I have never installed a plug in either.
I have heard others complain of it but I wonder why my blogs aren’t affected?
