Web Predators

Category: stuff

When I say the words “web predators” to you, what do you think of first?

This sort of thing

or

an SEO company?

It’s definitely an interesting choice of name.

You do raise a very valid point!!!

Do they favour Bebo over Facebook? ;)

    Hi Matt,

I didn’t check them but those lake district hotel ranks are pretty good ‘on paper’ - I think that’s important if you are selling yourself as being on top of the internet food chain :)

Does anybody give themselves names that accurately reflect their real position? internet-also-rans.co.uk? punching-above-our-weight.com? one-man-and-a-laptop.net?

Quite aggressive though, ‘predators’. Good luck to them, anyway.

Hi George, thanks for stopping by :)

I’ve checked a couple of the positions you mention and they seem to be spot on, so good on the Web Predators!

It just struck me as a potentially controversial name… made me think of to catch a predator, rightly or wrongly.

one thing that never ceases to amaze me, regardless how one views their job of “SEO”, marketing does matter. And a crappy name like that . . . . . ’nuff said.

    nice find, Matt!

Continuing the theme of “poorly thought out site names”, I present for your enjoyment a little Pink and Brown Love. Safe for work, honest!
