Matt Davies is a web marketing professional specialising in search engine optimisation/SEO, and an avid music fan. He loves indie and rock music especially, but is willing to give most things a listen. Except RnB - he doesn’t like that. He really loves hearing music live and trys to get as many gigs as he can. He’s actually just about to go see his favourite band Broken Social Scene as he writes this, and is rather excited.

During the day he helps get websites to the top of Google for relevant keywords using the mystical art of Search Engine Optimisation. He learnt SEO while working at Global Media in Manchester (now bigmouthmedia Manchester). He’s since moved on to work with the good people at Fluid Creativity, an award winning Manchester Web Design and SEO Company. Of course, none of what is written in this blog represents anything other than what is going on in Matt’s head, and certainly not the opinions of his employers!

He earned a BA at a campus of the University of Manchester in Warrington, and now lives with his 4 housemates and a cat. He’s been with his fiancée Helen for going on 6 years, and they plan to marry in 2009. He lives in Manchester, and his hometown is Leicester.
